Events!
Anticipation - Arrival - Atmosphere
Anticipation
In order to gather attention to our event, we will post local ads in the newspaper (according to if our budget allows for this or not), try to connect with local companies, and have business cards and fliers on standby to pass out-these will also be passed out at the event. Local vendors are specifically invited to this event; however, we will cater to any public, potential clients. Our maximum in the room at once is 100. There will be a presentation at our event showcasing our specialties.
Arrival
Upon arriving, our potential clients and vendors will have reserved parking to ease the trouble of finding a spot. There will be a few attendents on standby to escort guests to the second floor. Fliers and business cards will be presented in welcome packets, along with pencils with our logo printed on them, notebooks, and keychains.
Atmosphere
Guests will have the freedom to come in and out of our reserved banquet room, as they can view local artwork on the first floor and historical artifacts on the top floor. Our floor will be decorated with garlands and flowers from local florists. A "green" theme will especially be presented; however, guests will be notified that we plan for any wedding, not solely "green" weddings. Banquet tables and chairs will be set up with our presntation at the front.Tables with catered finger foods and water and punch will be to the leftmost and rightmost walls. We will also have a table set up with raffle items. Note: their raffle ticket will be in their welcome packet.

Elizabeth Padilla of Eliz Designs announces the opening of her new wedding and event planning business. It is aimed towards helping any and all clients by giving them their perfect day. Eliz Events is especially steered towards green weddings and helping the environment, while also helping their customers with an affordable budget.
Their current office is located in Riverside, California with absolutely no issues traveling to assist in her client. They located in the heart of Ca. Their office, approximately 1200 square-feet, is setup to provide clients with comfortable space for discussion and planning, as well as private rooms containing planning boards, small-scale models to inspire the clients, as well as extra meeting space.
Owner Elizabeth Padilla followed her heart and decided to turn to this career into a full-time business. She now provides brides and grooms their perfect day, while maintaining an honest budget and friendly service. With a bent towards environmentalism, Elizabeth has combined the two industries and strives to help those who wish to have a green wedding, but cannot seem to find a planner who truly understands their goals in doing this.
They will be holding an open event at the Page-Walker House on June 25th. The event will take place on the second floor at 12:00PM and will offer vendors and clients the opportunity to meet with Elize Events, as well as one another. Inspiring, Extraordinary, and Truly Unforgettable Events
This project was a pleasure to complete. The grand opening presentation follows the required A6 steps and presents these six components of wedding planning through images and small text explaining the images and vision. I decided to hold my opening at a historical hotel/museum/art gallery as I wish to combine wedding and event planning with museums and historical sites. The theme of the opening was black, but also slightly neutral. This was keeping in mind the fact that clients who are not necessarily drawn towards completely green weddings might feel turned away from our business-we do not want this to be the case. We are catering to all clients, not just "green" clients; however, ideally, green weddings is what we like to do.
